Hi David, my 1irons are great, thanks again. I have used them several years and of course I have a few maintenance questions. A couple of my rings where the shafts connect to the hosel have worked loose. I have tried to glue them with super glue without success. Do you have a suggestion? My understanding is they are cosmetic trim so It is not crucial. Just curious if you have suggestion. Jerry

Jerry,

Try epoxy which should hold them. The ferrules are, as you say, cosmetic and are held in place through compression (the inside diameter being smaller than the diameter of the shaft). However, if the clubs are subjected to heat (being stored in the trunk of a car during hot weather, being washed with hot water, etc.) the ferrule will expand and become loose.
