Subject: SPS with 1irongolf

I am transitioning to the SPS (one plane swing) but am very interested in 1irongolf clubs. What are your thoughts in combining the two?
Dave

Dave,

The two were made for each other. The single plane swing (Natural Golf) was developed by Moe Norman who is considered the best ball striker who ever lived. Moe played single length irons his entire competitive career. Also, Bryson DeChambeau who combines a single plane swing with single length irons has had a great PGA career so far. No question, in order to get the best results from a single plane swing, or any other swing for that matter, single length irons are the way to go.

I totally agree. I was using the SPS with my old irons, but it works so much better with my Blackstone irons. Also the white scoring lines make it so much easier to line up the shots. I have become a lot more accurate. Well worth it, golfing is fun again.

Rocco,
My SPS has always been more upright. Instead of the Graves system, I have been using Learning Golf (Kirk Junge). Kirk was a licensed instructor of the Moe Norman Single Plane golf swing as taught by the Graves Golf Academy from 2014 through 2016. 1 Iron Golf clubs are 63.5* upright, which I like. So yes, I believe your SPS will change somewhat. My SPS has definitely improved since I have been using my Blackstone irons. I highly recommend them. Plus the customer service is great. I have always received an answer to my questions from David or Matt. Sorry to take so long to get back to you. John

I took my 1irongolf clubs to the course after a couple of range sessions. Driver was nice and straight! Irons and wedges were the perfect distance wise and crisp. The only time I got into troublle was chipping and pitching .....but hadn't practiced that so not a problem in my mind. I shot an 85 which made me very happy. Golf is fun again. I am new to the Graves Golf type swing and really enjoying the process.

Thanks to David. Matt, and all the 1irongolf folks!
