eskimoe kids with picket fence smile and wolverine parkas
playing stickball, lonely fat kid watching

rollerskate past on gym floor from flying brown fists
mom they hate me, how could they hate you they don't know
mom wait i am white and i feel so very sick, can i stay home
i wish i could stay home every day beats the beatings

finally back home in the lower forty-eight no break
friends stare speaking in older voices on my whiteness
i am so white i know i am so white trust me
the sun shine maybe will be my first friend-forgeting
