I've got my garden in... I already have some cabbage heads about the size of tennis balls. I noticed a bloom on one of my tomato plants. My okra, cukes, squash, and oinions are doing well also. I've been mowing the grass, trying to keep up with that. It has started to get dry a little here so I'm hoping for some rain showers. We had a wind storm a couple of weeks ago and I lost a lot of little pears off my trees. Maybe the survivors will be larger. I think that something happened to my hawk's nest that is in the backyard. At first I could see the hen's tail sticking out over the side, now I see no activity whatsoever. The pair is still around because I hear them calling. I plan to travel down to Ala. and pick up my Mom and take her to visit relatives in Tenn. for a couple of days. That is an 1,800 mile round trip for me. So, ya'll have a great Memorial Day weekend and stay safe.
