I hope you are feeling a little better. I read that you are not sure of what is wrong, so I hope you find out soon. It is always most difficult to tackle illness when we are unsure of the cause.
Angel, I have a couple of questions and one is health-related!
I have been suffering high (not really high but moderately high) blood pressure since I was in hospital for an operation early this year.
I have been working on this with my homoeopath who also works as a therapist to try to find the cause of it...basically why my heart works harder than it should at times....and it's proving hard to pin down. Do you have any insights into why my body reacts this way? I think it's fear but I'm not sure what the fear is related to.
Also, I have an ethical dilemma. I have been seeing the above homeopath, Neil,(lean, blonde, about my age - 45) since February and we have been doing some great work. He has disclosed some things to me including the fact that he is single. We have a lot in common and if he were not in the role of my therapist I'd certainly like to have coffee with him and get to know him better.
However, I am aware of the ethical boundaries of such a relationship and am wondering how to proceed. I really value him as a therapist but also feel there is real potential for a relationship.
Should I take the risk and disclose this. I don't have big feelings for him...I just feel there is potential...but it's a tricky one. I know he is a very ethical person and if I spoke about my desire to get to know him better I might be sabotaging both the therapy and anything else. Yeeks!
Any advice much appreciated.
