You people fucking crack me up. C'mon its jail. It's not spose to be the Hilton. Most of you that were in there say how bad it was, but let me ask you a question. What did you do to get put in there? As for the comment about the jail not being understaffed. That a bullshit. I used to work at the Jail as a Detention officer, and when I was there they were very understaffed. It was not because they didn't want more help. It was because they couldn't afford to pay for more officers. The whole reason why the Sheriff wanted a Tax was so he could hire more jail staff.
I worked the 1st shift which was from 11:45 p.m. til 8 a.m. and there was maybe 30 gaurds working, and that was in the whole jail. We might have 3 officers per floor which housed over 500 inmates. I'm so sorry that not all your needs were met but with 500 bitching babies to look after you can make everyone happy, and you cant fluf everyones pillow at night.
Why dont all you crying faggits that think the jail is so bad go down and put in your applications and try working there for just a week and you'll realize that the jail is fucked up because the inmates are fucked up.
My brother just got out of there on 5-27-03 because hey was a moron and was smoking pot in a club and OCPD came in and caught him. Did he bitch about having to be down there? Yes! he did but unlike most of you morons out there he realized that he was in there for a reason and it was spose to be a country club.
