Subject: onlinesurveydepot.com scam

Ya - they tried to scam me. When I got the email back from a 'representative' beckywilson@mailcan.com asking me to go to this web site and telling me I needed to pay to join I knew it was wrong. This is the email I sent her after I figured it out:

Hmmm...

Your kidding right???

You want me to pay for membership with your organization that purports to pay students to take surveys???

Sounds like the 'You have won the lottery, but need to pay a $10,000 processing fee'

Seems to me that if the companies were so 'HOT' to get the public to take their surveys that they would be paying you for the service - not you wanting money from us for information on who to contact...

I am reporting you to the Better Business Bureau Fraud Department, and posting a complaint at the FBI's Internet Fraud Complaint Center (http://www.ifccfbi.gov/index.asp).

Please DO NOT CONTACT ME AGAIN :(

Have a great day!

I'm a student in London and got sent an invitation for a "part time job opportunity". They made it out to be focus group work, turned out it was onlinesurveydepot.com what a fricking farce.
