Acid Forum aims to reveal the truth about popular Get Paid to Do Whatever programs (e.g. get paid to surf, read email, do surveys...; GPT in short) as well as GPT-like programs for webmasters (traffic-building communities and banner exchange networks).

GPT hoaxes haven't been widely discussed on anti-MLM or anti-Scam discussion boards. They are seemingly less dangerous than Chain Letters or Nigerian Scam. In fact, they are even worse: GPT schemes are a particularly aggressive type of MLM that affects many novice money-spinners. GPT programs are very time-consuming but eventually worthless and therefore frustrating. Unfortunately, many internet surfers get to know it too late.

Goals

- inform internet surfers about GPT scams, particularly about fraudulent GPT sponsors
- possibly prevent internet surfers from joining ANY GPT scheme
