Hello,
My name is Barry. I am a twenty year old college student from the U.S. Both my parents grew up in Taiwan, and they have taught me to both speak and read Mandarin Chinese fluently. I was born in Texas, and I do hold an US passport.
I am looking for opportunities to work as an English teacher in Taiwan this summer, from June to late August of 2005, is it usually possible to find a short-term summer job in Taiwan? I have heard that because I am of Asian descent, it is harder to find a job since I look Taiwanese, is that true?
