Taipei Municipal Police Department set up a Web page to cover some issues about foreigners' documents, which is located at
http://www.tmpd.gov.tw/eng.html
It includes information about extension of visitor visa, lost or stolen passports, alien resident certificate, reentry permit, registration of birth, death, marriage, divorce and address change, and so on. It also provides tips about handling traffic accidents and tips against pickpocketings. Some handy phone numbers are available, too.
