Hi!
I am interested in teaching English in Taiwan next summer (after I get my degree in translation). I am planning on getting a TESOL certificate before going to Taiwan.
However, as I was looking at job postings, I noticed that most positions required the teacher to be a native English speaker... I am not. My first language is French, but I think my English is okay since I have been living in Ottawa for 2 years and lived in Calgary before. I am wondering how strict the employers are regarding this requirement. Do you have any idea?
