First, a poll question: Generally speaking, which is a better quality employer in Taiwan, buxibans or high schools?
Now for my other question. Yes, I know this is going to sound ridiculous, but I was wondering if anybody out there would be interested in dumping the buxiban grind and taking over my position at a high school here in Central Taiwan.
The reason I'm leaving is simple: I've been offerred a university position in HUALIEN. That's right! Land of clean air, blue oceans, mountain views, and nice beaches. Since the high school has been good to me, I promised my boss I would help him find a replacement.
Soooooooooo, if you are new --or old-- to the island, want your own classroom with air conditioning, a killer sound system, a movie projector with screen, and a computer with internet connection... and would like a fresh start, please zap me a line.
