Subject: Which visa?

Hi,
I am a little confused about which visa is the best one to get for coming to Taiwan to teach. I have read about "business" visas that you can get if you can obtain a letter of invitation from any business in Taiwan, not necessarily to work for them though. This visa apparently means you have a couple of years work eligibility and don't have to worry about visa runs, and grants you multiple entries. Or the "tourist" visa, which depending on which country you are from (I am a Kiwi) you are allowed to stay for 60 days or whatever. Is this right so far?? Anyway, my main question is - obviously the business visa sounds like a better deal, is there a catch? Can you teach english on this visa legally? Why don't more people talk about these visas? Does it matter which company/business the letter comes from? What should the letter say? If anyone knows anything about this, please help!

Thanks, Erin
