Subject: Heading to Taiwan

 Hello!....

...So I am heading over to Taiwan in January on a tourist visa, which is valid up to 60 days. I will for sure want to extend my stay so I have a couple of questions:
1. Is it possible to go to Thailand to reapply or extend my visa for Taiwan?
If so is this a tricky or lengthy process?
2. Is it possible to apply for a student visa for Taiwan from Thailand after residing there for some time on a tourist visa?
If you are unable to answer this, can you please direct me to someone who may be of help?
