This report is based on official government figures. Many estimate that the amount of unknown counterfeit medications prescribed to patients by local medicial professionals is much higher than the 10% quoted by official sources.
The inability of the racist and corrupt occupational government to govern on Taiwan and the free hand given to criminals and the government officials they openly bribe is at the core of this problem.
Medical care is cheap on Taiwan but you get what you pay for.
