 There are literally thousands of such cases of foreign nationals disappearing in Taiwan. Most are usually runaway slaves, others are "trouble makers" that simply disappear.
Finding a body is unusual but the way this case was handled in standard operating procedure for the racist criminals in the occupational government on Taiwan.
Unfortunatly the Taiwan police are notoriously corrupt and have a "blank check" as it were when dealing with people on Taiwan who are not Republic of China nationals.
