Subject: please help me two time cancer survivor

Hello to all,

I am a young, single female who has survived cancer twice. I lost my mom three years ago to cancer, and wasn’t even able to attend her funeral because I was to sick from chemotherapy. I have been on my own since she passed away, I have no relationship with my father nor have I for over 10 years. I am only 22 years old and have fought through cancer twice and both times without a mother or father. I was first diagnosed with cancer when my mom was dying from cancer, and for a short time I just wanted to go and be with her but it wasn’t my time I guess.

I was working full time and doing chemotherapy until I couldn’t do it anymore I was so sick. I had just purchased a new car a few months before and then not even being able to go to work. Plus I really didn’t have any family to help, I fell so behind on all my bills that I had to file for bankruptcy. Which is the worst idea ever to do in life. That is now discharged and has been for two years.

I tried so hard to regain my credit which was just starting at that time. I finally was able to go back to work and a few months later I was laid off. I went looking and found a great job at a law firm where I have been for over a year now. Only a few months into my new job and I was diagnosed with cancer for the second time, I was on salary but because I was only there for a few months they couldn’t pay me that for the time I needed off. They did pay my rent for me, which was pretty nice. And I never had to pay that back.

So I fell behind again that’s why I am trying to get a loan for $8500. I recently filed for chapter 128 which isn’t a bankruptcy but a repayment plan, but I couldn’t include all of my taxes that I owe or a few medical bills I received after I filed. Chapter 128 is a payment plan set up with the courts and they take out the money I owe on bills and pay the creditors for the next 3 years. Similar to a consolidation loan. I make $2000 in salary a month and with this loan I would only have a few things to pay. So I could save the money incase this ever happens again. All of the $8500 would towards medical bills.


I have always been responsible with my finances but 3 years ago my credit scores slipped to HR because of me getting sick, which was the same time I just started to get credit. I would like the chance to prove myself if you will let me.
