Subject: Catcher missing the game

Hi all! I'm a die-hard softball catcher that's been out of the competitve game for two years, but misses it something fierce! I am moving to the Newport News area in July to join my husband who is in the military, and am looking to establish myself with a women's fastpitch softball team, age 20 and up. I played for 12 years before coming to Washington to finish school, and was both an All-League catcher and outfielder in high school. I played in 6 National tournaments before I hung up my cleats. I am interested in playing/practicing with a team in the Newport News/Norfolk/Virginia Beach area for the end of summer and possibly during fall league.

If anyone is interested in meeting up with me, I will be out there July 10. Please e-mail me!

I look forward to using my glove to play instead of as a comfy pillow!
