Subject: Maryland Magic Wagners 16 U Tryouts

The Maryland Magic/Wagner�s Organization will host tryouts for their 16 U team on :
August 12 � Located in Maryland- 9-12 a.m. - Freetown Park, 7769 Freetown Road, Pasadena, Md.

August 18 � Located in Virginia � 9-12 a.m. -Highland School, 597 Broadview Avenue, Warrenton, Va. 20186

August 16 � Located in Maryland - 6-8 p.m. Freetown Park, 7769 Freetown Road, Pasadena, Md.

Players are encouraged, but not required, to make all tryouts. All POSITIONS ARE OPEN. Private tryouts may be arranged.

Our Fall 2012 schedule tentatively includes:

September 15, 16 - Hall of Fame Qualifier, Sterling, Virginia

October - Newtown Rock College Showcase

October 20-21 - East Coast College Showcase- Virginia Beach

November 3, 4 - East Coast Showcase- Virginia OR/Scenic City, Chattanooga, Tenn.

OR

November 9, 10, 11 - Early Signing Showcase, Myrtle Beach

In the Spring/Summer, we plan to compete in ASA �A� National Qualifiers as well as Premier Qualifiers and USSSA tourneys. The commitment to this team requires travel, including possible showcases in Tennessee, Florida and/or North Carolina. Most tournaments are located in Pa, NJ, Maryland, and Virginia. The team plans to play in the Colorado Independence Day/Fireworks/Sparkler at the beginning of July. The team will also compete in a National Tournament in 2013.

The Maryland Magic/Wagner's Organization is one of the most successful organizations in the Mid-Atlantic. Players such as Lauren Gibson and Kourtney Salvarola played their travel ball with Maryland Magic/Wagner's. Our Gold team recently qualified for ASA Gold Nationals for the fifth year in a row.

The head coaches of this team have no daughters on the team and are focused on the continued, long term development of the player physically and mentally in preparation for high school and collegiate softball. Coaches are dedicated to assisting players in their search for the college softball program that will best fit their needs academically and athletically. We believe there is a place for every dedicated, hardworking player to play college ball if she so desires.

We encourage good athletes who love the game and want to learn and play hard to tryout!
