GOVERNOR LINKED TO AGRI SCAM

A GROUP of farmers yesterday asked the Department of Agriculture to investigate Nueva Ecija Gov. Aurelio Umali for his alleged involvement in a multi-million-peso agricultural scam.

Sid Villaflor, leader of the farmers, said Umali should be probed for selecting a farmers’ group as beneficiaries of a livelihood and irrigation project even if its members are not from the province.

Villaflor said that the Samahan ng mga Manininda ng Prutas sa Gabi, Inc. has been named beneficiary of the project.

The farmers claimed that the governor had allegedly entered into an agreement with the SMPGI for a P3-million livelihood and irrigation project.

The project reportedly involved the purchase of water pumps priced at P120,000 each although its market price was only P40,000 each.

The group also asked the Senate to investigate the alleged scam as millions of pesos that were diverted from the Priority Development Assistance Fund of Nueva Ecija were used to finance bogus projects.

Earlier, graft charges were filed before the Office of the Ombudsman against Umali for allegedly favoring bogus farmers’ groups as beneficiaries of agricultural projects even if such groups are not registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The case stemmed from an agreement that Umali allegedly entered into with the Masaganang Ani Para sa Magsasaka Foundation, Inc. that authorized the latter to pinpoint the beneficiaries of the agricultural project.

The governor allegedly caused the release of P12 million from the PDAF to buy 7,920 bottles of liquid fertilizer for the farmers of the towns of Gabaldon and General Natividad in Nueva Ecija.

The complainants claimed that the fertilizers were overpriced at P1,500 each as the prevailing market price for each bottle ranged from P100 to P200 only.

dnd, ipaliwanag mo yang mga ginamit niyong ghost foundation na yan na nakasama sa c.o.a. report sa nawawalang 444milyon. i-post mo dito address ng mga foundation na ginamit ng amo mo para magkaalaman kung totoo o hindi.

hindi na kayang mambola yang si dnd dahil bistado na ang pagkatao niyan.ano ang mapapala ng ating mambabasa sa klaseng taong paikoikot lang ang sinasabi.at ayun guston pang magpadehado kunwari na meron mangyayari sa taong inalabas ko.baka yung kanyang governor palpak ang gumawa ng hindi kanaisnais sa ating mga writer dito kaya kayong sumusulat na against sa kanya magingat po tayo dahil mapanganib ang pagkato nitong umali na pulapol.hehehehehe

bakit pagwala ka ng malusutan palagi kang nagbabakasyon?

Pano naman akong hindi magbabakasyon, pag ako sulat ng sulat dito iniiwan nyo ako, di ba may thread pa akong nalungkot ako dahil wala kayo, kahit ganito tayo eh nakaka miss din kayo. Mas maganda pala yung matagal tagal ka sumilip marami rami ang napag-uusapan, saka parating ganun nalang, minsan nakakasawa na rin kaya magpahinga muna ako, 1 week tour lang yun, unwind ng konti, iba syempre pag kasama pamilya, alangan namang kayo isama ko?

Allegedly ako yung sabungerong konsehal na tumakbo na tinatakbuhan ang mga kapustahan sa sabong.....

Ganun ba kalawak ang influence nung tao na yun, ano ba common denominator niya para maging kasing galing ko siya at marami siyang nalalaman sa politika ng Nueva Ecija, malawak ba ang napupuntahan nun gaya ko para malaman ang mga kaganapan mula gabaldon, laur, bongabon, natividad, palayan, pati basura sa valle cruz at basura sa lupao, laur, etc. pati kay mayor jay hanggang kay alvin, kay umali, kay joson, ganun na ba kagandang maging sabungero para masakop mo lahat ang mga naging topic ko rito?

Pati Pantabangan, may Dingalan pa,pati si Ric Peralta at may kumander pa na taga bundok.... at kung ano ano pa.....

kung hindi ikaw eh di hindi ikaw, pero paniwala ni don ikaw kaya sa tingin namin ikaw nga yon. hahaha

Dondi, este DND, hindi ganun kalawak ang napupuntahan ni Dondi, ganun kalawak ang IMAHENASYON ng taong yon. Kasama mo ba biyanan mo sa biyahe o galit sayo?

Alam naman po lahat ng nagbabasa ng thread na hindi niyo ipinagtatanggol si Umali. DINIDEPENSAHAN niyo lang at PINAGTATAKPAN. Alam din po namin na hindi niyo binabatikos si VG Edward at SP, Voltaire Chua at kanyang anak, Jay at Alvin Vergara, Ric Peralta, Boyet Joson, Gob.Tommy at kanyang mga anak. SINISIRAAN niyo lang at GINIGIBA. Hindi naman po masyadong halata. HEHEHE!

Pakisagot ng derecho ang mga isyu na sangkot ang kaibigan mo at ipaliwanag mo dito ng mabuti kung papaano nga ba ang mga nangyari. Subukan mong balikan lahat ng post dito tungkol sa multicab, fertilizer at ibat-ibang katiwalian, tignan mo ang mga sagot mo at puro paninisi sa ibang tao ang ginagawa mong dahilan. Pati ang pagkakamatay ni Mayor Perez na matagal ng patay ilang beses mong paulit-ulit na isinasali sa usapan.

Tama ka sa sinasabi mong hindi lang si Gob ang magnanakaw dito sa ating lalawigan, isama mo na ang ilan sa kamag-anak niya at kanyang mga kaibigan.

personally, i didnt want to reveal his name but since he was so arrogant and inconsistent by challenging people around here to reveal his name i had no choice but to let you know.this forum is not moderated so anybody can just say his piece without any fear of anything.so please, make a wise judgement on what you read and dont just believe on what any person say,by respecting and asking him to lead to any charitable work.we dont really know the character of this person.now that you know him,make a good judgement for those who know him.

I got your point don. We don't need a group or organization to do a charity work. Kahit ikaw ay nag iisa kaya mong gawin ito, Hindi sa dami o sa materyal nababase ang pagtulong sa ating mga kababayan. May mga kababayan din tayong tumutulong sa ating less fortunate na kababayan , walang "middle man" direct to the people. Hindi sila mayayaman, they are not in a higher spectrum of our society. They have a simple life, they work and they have bills to pay but they always try their best to share what little they have. There is one rule NO politics, no religion, no newspaper. We can do this too, one family at a time. Take care MY KABABAYAN.
