Plot to kill DILG chief, AFP and Iglesia officials foiled -- police

POLICE officials yesterday presented eight suspected members of a breakaway faction of the Revolutionary Proletarian Army-Alex Boncayao Brigade who are allegedly guns-for-hire on a mission to assassinate Interior Secretary Ronaldo V. Puno and some officials of the Philippine National Police, the Armed Forces and the Iglesia ni Cristo.

The suspects, two of them women, who were arrested Saturday in a police raid in San Pedro, Laguna have carried out 40 assassinations in Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon, according to their own leader.

Puno and the PNP, AFP and INC officials, who were not identified, have been informed of the plan to kill them, the police said.

National Capital Region Police Office chief Director Geary L. Barias identified the suspects as Brandy Nilo Gerona alias Ka Andy, his brother Frangilino alias Ka Gilbeys/James, Lloyd Perez alias Ka Lloyd, Rommel Baying alias Ka Mike, Elly Macariola alias Ka Alex, Jonathan Cartujano alias Ka Joey, Jenny Canlas alias Ka Melo and Sienna Quiambao alias Ka Sienna. Their names are o n the list of RPA-ABB personalities who are supposed to be covered by the peace process, Barias said.

Brandy Gerona, the acknowledged leader of the group, admitted that they assassinated Jessie Pablo, Ka Saning, Ebertson Pascual, Erickson Pascual and Dr. Juanito Reyes who were all killed in a daring attack inside the Gapan Cockpit Arena in Nueva Ecija on March 20, 2006; Barangay Talipapa, Las Pinas chairman Lino de Castro on May 16, 2006; Makati Business Permit and Licensing Office chief Pablo Glean and his bodyguard Benhur RAdam near a gas station in Global City in Taguig on Sept. 16, 2006; Alaska Union president Andrew Inoza in San Pedro, Laguna on Nov. 21, 2006; Muntinlupa official Virgilio Bunye, a relative of presidential spokesman Ignacio Bunye on Dec. 20, 2006; William Calapan, president of the Samahan ng Leyte-Samar Muntinlupa Chapter who was killed in Dasmarinas, Cavite on April 7 last year; Fidel de Mesa,, president of a tricycle operators and drivers’ association in Alabang on June 7 last year; Muntinlupa City administrator Obet Bunye, another relative of Press Secretary Ignacio Bunye on Aug., 20 last year; Basir Banta, a president of a Muslim association in Alabang on October 2007; Larry Cabesas, a vendor’s association president in Alabang on Dec. 3 last year; and Marica Mondejar, president of a homeowners’ association in Mayamot, Antipolo City on Sept. 20, 2007.

Two caliber 9mm sub-machineguns, a cal. .25 pistol, three hand grenades and assorted magazines and ammunition were recovered from the possession of the suspects when they were arrested inside Block 3, Lot 8, Pacita 2-C, San Pedro, Laguna at 8 a.m. last Saturday, said Southern Police District director Chief Supt. Luizo C. Ticman.

The SPD District Intelligence Operating Unit headed by Supt. R’win Pagkalinawan, the Special Action Force led by Supt. Francisco Santiago and the Muntinlupa City Police Station under Supt. Alfredo Valdez raided the suspects’ hideout on the strength of a search warrant issued by Judge Cesar D. Mangrobang of the Imus, Cavite Regional Trial Court Branch 22. The suspects were charged with illegal possession of firearms and ammunition and explosive Tuesday.

According to Barias, intelligence reports revealed that the group was originally part of the RPA-ABB under former rebel chieftain Nilo de la Cruz. However. They left the group after a rift developed between de la Cruz and the late Nilo Tabara.

ang mga nahuli pong mga taong ito ay mga bayaran,ang maganda po sana ay matukoy ang ugat at pinakamastermind ng pag sugod nila sa sabungan ng gapan at pagresulta ng pagkamatay ng 5 buhay,5 nasayang na buhay....alam po ba ninyo na ang babaing nahuli na si Sienna Quiambao ay taga Sta CruZ Gapan?na pamangkin ni Dalia CruZ na isa sa may kinalaman sa nangyari sa sabungan, na sa ngayon siya ay may warrant of arrest na sa kasong multiple murder! sana lang lumitaw na ang katotohanan sa pangyayaring ito sa bayan ng gapan at hindi lang ang nagyari sa sabungan pati ang mga sumunod na patayan at mga serye ng holdapan ay sa kanila tumutukoy.Nanawagan po kami sa mga kapulisan sa bayan ng gapan,na maging alerto tayo dahil ang ating bayan ay nagiging pondohan ng mga masasmang loob partikular sa baryo ng sta cruz,sigurado. Salamat sa Diyos!kahit papano nagkakroon na ng linaw ang patayang nangyari sa sabungan ng gapan.Ang mga taong nahuli 8 sila kabilang ang 2 babae.Isipin ninyo,babae nakakya ng gumawa ng ganito,talaga yatang masama na ang nangyayari sa mundo,araw araw papasama na ang mga tao,ang mga nahuling ito ay mga taong BAYARAN na mga walang PUSO at KONSENSYA.Mas mainam at mas maganda kung ang mga taong MASTERMIND sa mga krimen ay matukoy at managot sila sa batas.Sila ang NAGBAYAD sa mga mamamatay tao para magpapatay ng kapwa.
Ang pangyayari sa sabungan ng Gapan ay halos 2 taon na,subalit ang takot at pangambang idinulot nito sa mga taong Gapan ay hindi basta basta malilimutan lalong lalo na sa mga pamilya naulila,hindi man natin sila kamag anak o kaibigan masakit ang naging pangyayaring ito,PAANO?kung sa atin nangyari ito?paano natin haharapin ang buhay?Marapat na ang lahat ng may kinalaman ay managot sa batas,samantalang inamin ng leader na nadakip ang KRIMEN.Dapat lang na sabihin nadin niya ang mga taong nagbayad sa kanila upang patayin nila ng walang awa ang mga taong may magaganda pa sanang kinabukasan kapiling ang kanilang mga pamilya.Isipin ninyo kung tayo ang napunta sa kanilang kalagayan?kung wala pong nagbabayad sa mga taong ito,walang ding lalabas na mamamatay tao at wala sanang mamamatay.

MR.Valmonte,salamat dahil merong web site na kagaya nito para masabi o maipahayag ang damdamin ng mga taga n.e. lalo at may katotohanan ito,madami na kami comment at letter pero hindi na po post,hindi ko po maintindihan bakit ang aming comment ay hindi napo post.sana po lahat ay bigyan daan ninyo na mabasa ng nakakarami.
