Subject: Recovering my deck

I have a 1965 38' Sedan Flybridge. The cabin tops are covered in white vinyl and the deck is grey vinyl. The deck vinyl is starting to show its age and is going to need replacing. I am having trouble finding a manufacturer that sells the grey vinyl and in the correct width. I need to the roll to be at least 72" wide. Any suggestions?

See my reply to the post about deck re-covering a few items below this one. I really think you might be better off by stripping off the old deck vinyl and getting the deck plywood real clean(remove - scrap off old glue) sand with 80 grit or rougher to get a new clean surface. Lay down 4 to 6 oz Dynel or fiberglass cloth. Use West System (or other) epoxy and roll it on. You can stop rolling on the epoxy when you get the deck effect that you want. canvas effect with less layer of epoxy. Or smooth deck effect with more layers of epoxy. Then, if you want it grey in color - paint it with either a one or 2 part polyurethane paint. And the epoxy deck will last for many years - unlike vinyl decks.
