Subject: Carburator problem

I have a Model K with a zenith up draft carberator. My plugs are fouling out, too rich. Spark is good, new points etc. Motor has less than 100 hours. I have cleaned carb, new repair kit, etc. Float is not leaking. I have adjusted float setting. Forget the spec. on float, believe it is 1 9/16. Can anyone offer suggestions? should I continue to adjust float?

thanks,

Mark,
are the plugs wet with gas or oil when you take them out?
If gas then you may have a float level problem but if it's oil then you may just need to get a few hours on the engine to seat the new rings. By the time it has a hundred hours on it everything should be pretty much sealed-up. You might want to talk to the rebuilder to get their thoughts.
Craig
