Hey, that's pretty close to my theory.
See, I think that if the government legalized drugs and sold them, they could eliminate the drug problem.
Ok, first of all they could regulate what was in them, so that they were not as dangerous- like making sure they didn't sell people cocaine that was cut with draino or something like that.
Then, they sell them cheaply and drive all the other drug dealers out of business. It's just like all the big corporations have done to small businesses. That would pretty much get rid of the illegal drug trade.
Then they could gradually decrease the potency of the drugs and/or make them more expensive, so that eventually people would stop becoming addicted.
Well, that's what I think. Does anyone else agree?
