An interesting poser is why do people panic buy at bank-holiday weekends? Every Saturday I shop peacefully in my local shopping centre, but every holiday weekend (when Heaven knows *no* shop will *ever* open again once the holiday is over...) I end up playing "Where's Wally" at Dunnes Stores checkouts.

People are strange.
