Well as you know, I was not able to go to the one in Alabama but I do have the video. I will try to bring it to the next pageant and everyone can watch her division. There were some newbies. Some mid level girls and some very polished ones, her division had 17 contestants in it. It was pretty much the same as here except TJ had to pro am on the carpet, which I hear happens often in the South but the girls here are not really use to it. From now on, we will have to rotate through carpet and hardwood floors.

Her crown is intense, just beautiful. They did run out of banners so they gave her one that wasnt really made for that level of competition, more the state level but to make up for it the director is having one made and putting her name on it. From what I understand the reason they ran out is because they had a couple divisions that were bigger than TJ's so they split them up so they could award more titles, you cant really argue with that reasoning.

The trophies are not as big as the ones that CC or NM give here but that didnt bother us cause getting them home would have been a royal pain and I think the crown more than makes up for a smaller trophy, plus it seems like our house is being overrun by those things. The trophy she got for her National Divisional Supreme title is pretty unique compaired to the other ones we have here. She did get a robe as well so we are going to have that decorated. Plus tons of gifts. I sent her with an extra piece of luggage which was good as it came back full of plaques, trophies, crowns banners and gifts.

She had the time of her life and wants to go back and do another of Janice Brown's pageants, so we are shooting for the one in Florida.

Wow, how awesome for T.

I agree with the trophys. They are nice on stage, but storing and transporting them is another story.

We really liked the plague (sp) that cc gave. Doesn't take up much room, yet able to display all the winnings.

Take care,
D

We really like the plaques that CC used as well. NM gave some out at Mini Nationals this year so JK has two and we love them both. The one she got from CC is a little busier as she did a little better at that pageant but it was so much easier to get them home and way easier to display them. I think most of the directors like them better than the trophies as well so we may find them handed out more often thatn trophies in the future. It would be nice.
