Definitely heed the advice to drink lots of water. I always have a water bottle on me at all times during my trips and have never had any problems adjusting to the altitude.

Moisturizer is a good suggestion as well, since the air is very dry. That may give some dancers issues, if they are used to breathing more humid air.
