Subject: My kid dances at tons of events every year and we never see a penny of it. Not to support majors, fundraisers, etc.

  • Of course it's legal. They're dancing, not working 16 hours a day in a factory. The TC has the right to collect the money and use it as he or she sees fit. Hopefully, the money will be used to benefit the students, whether directly or indirectly, such as paying for the TC to travel to feiseanna and majors, which also benefits the dancers.
