World's judges were announced around Oireachtas (December). At that point, judges/musicians for the feis in question have certainly been booked. Possibly flights have already been purchased. The feis was likely already open. What are they to do - cancel the feis? And what about the King-O'Sullivan feis in January? At that point certainly all flights had been booked and downpayments made to the venue. Logistically it's not going to happen. Yes, it's unfortunate but the rules are the rules and we need to give these judges the assumption of credibility until they've proven otherwise.
