Subject: No. You both are in error. Posting here helps. Especially to see if others experienced the same. We had the same experience. OP said it was not the fault of the feis, but your are the ones who won't let it go, especially with your negative and demeaning remarks. If it were you, I am sure you would have been stomping mad.
In reply to: Lola 's message, "Yes. I believe that's what most people feel- the OP had an issue, one which had absolutely nothing to do with the feis OR a person dying. Most likely she's looking for sympathy and thrives on drama. Case closed." on 17:17:17 05/29/17 Mon

Bad form to cast stones, isn't it?

So, the OP wasn't eloquent in trying to explain what happened to them. But, it did happen and it shouldn't have.

Maybe the feis organizers will ensure there are better signs in that area or they will make sure all entries are open and accessible to those attending for the next feis.

The park person - parked at the lectern - did nothing to stop us from leaving the foyer area with cameras in hand and even saying we were going out to take pictures; said nothing, did nothing - just sat there. But when we wanted to come back in, she shouted at us, from her chair, "Go around!" "Go around!" and then ignored us, quite pointedly. Granted, we shrugged it off, but when we had walked all the way around to collect out things, just sitting there, inside the door, we watched her yell at others starting to open the door for some others (might have even been the OP, thinking about this).

Kind of interesting that it was more important for her to yell at others to "go around!" but it was okay for bags to be left unattended. Think about that for a few minutes. Priorities? Wouldn't unattended bags be more of a concern in light of recent events? But that one never left her chair to check anything or anyone, only yelled at people.

But, go on, belittle the OP for being frustrated and upset by all of this. Let's hope it doesn't occur to you and your dancer at the next feis or two.

OP, you had every right to be upset and frustrated, especially in the rain.
