See, now you're showing your conservative roots. What's morality, really? That's a subjective idea, and you can only waste time arguing for something subjective. I wouldn't necessarily make the same kinds of social decisions as Clinton, but the only thing we can objectively damn him for is perjury. If you hold humans to abnormally high and unchanging moral standards, you're setting yourself up for heartache like a kid looking up to Wilt Chamberlain. Was George Washington's slave ownership moral? It was to the majority of the American public in 1791. Do you damn him for owning something that his contemporaries thought was normal? Under your logic, you might as well. Hell, you can even nail him for wearing a wig in public! My main problem with these guys is that they haven't stood up to public scrutiny (read: Yellow Journalism) and said "Who are you to judge me?" Forget about hypocricy. Everyone's a hypocrite. Motivational speakers make a living at it! "Do as I say, not as I did". All you can hope for anymore is poetic justice. Some day I may see Mr. Limbaugh or Jimmy the Greek living in a "van down by the river" in history's RV park of displaced sports personalities. I'll chuckle to myself, and then sit down and discuss The condition of the GOP or Cleveland's Super Bowl odds with Tim Couch at the helm, respectively.
