That's a great argument, Marc. By the way, why doesn't the world concern itself about how WE feel?!? It's always, we can do this, or we can't do that because how would the world see it? Who cares!!! We are not acting alone in Iraq, people. There is a coalition of about 30 countries with us over there. Sounds like a pretty good world colaberation to me. Just because we don't have France, doesn't mean we are going to fail over there. In fact, since this is a military endevour, we are probably better off with out them. The Socialist countries (France, Spain)will always hate us because we don't subscribe to there ultra liberal ideas. And that is great as far as I'm concerned. If you think that the way Germany or Russia are doing things are the answer, then you are asking the wrong questions.
Also, while I don't think we should close our doors altogether, I think we as a country need to take a more isolationist attitude. INCUDING ARMED SENTRIES ON OUR BOURDERS!!!!! For too long has our southern bourder been a seive. JOC made the point before, how hard would it be for a terrorist to sneak in the US from Mexico with a dirty bomb? Or from the another socialist country, Canada? Maybe we should redirect some of the money we would normally give out in aid and use it to reduce our own defecit. Or, heaven forbid, call in some of the money other countries owed us. "Oh, you hate us Russia? Fine. Start paying back the billions of dollars we LOANED you since the fall of Communism."
