Your guess is as good as mine. For one, I'd stop blaming feminism. ;-) There is no one answer, but if pressed I'd say education is the main key.

Coming off as a victim was not my intent at all. There are so many subtle and deeply ingrained cultural, religious and interpersonal influences and dynamics at work with something like this. And at the same time, it's impossible to point out why this is such a hot-button issue, without providing, by way of explanation, a litany of examples (ie the rant about wages, etc.) Even our language and logic is based on the presupposition that it's a man's world. (whole 'nother fascinating can of worms...)

So Jung, Lou, how would you present my point differently? Better? More effectively? (pretend you were me) Did what I said make any sense? If so, how would it make any difference to your daily life?
