Yeah, I thought it was a good score. We deserved a draw at least,
thanks to Mr Frisk we didn't. What a stupid decision. If Drog wasn't
on a yellow, maybe he could have given a card, but come he was already
booked and it was a 50-50 ball. Alright the rule book says once the
keeper has both hands on the ball players aren't allowed to attack it
anymore, but in this case, Valdez had the ball for what, a nanosecond?

I am quite sure that if Drog was still on the field, we would have
come away with a result. From the evidence of our 1st half
performance, I think we were good value for the lead. The whole team
was superb, especially Makalele and Lamps in the middle. Over powering
a midfield orchestrated by Xavi Hernandez takes some doing, and
Makalele seemed to be doing it with ease. Duffer didn't look like
someone who had passed a late medical, he looked as sparky as ever.
THe defence was more than rock solid. So we conceded 2, which I now
think was amazing wrt to the amount of pressure we were subject to.
John and Ricy were amazing while Gallas pulled out one of his most
convincing performances as a full abck yet.

Despite his high work rate, Joe Cole was quite a let down, again. I
think Jose should seriously enroll him into Final Ball 101.

Based on our overall performance, I think we will get the 1-0 at the
Bridge.
