Andrea, i don't think there has been a study on just the white dobe population, ButVet Gen does have statistics listed for the entire Doberman population and gives the population percentages of clear, carrier and affecteds (irregardless of color). Go to www.vetgen.com

If the breeder is unaware of the vWD status of the dogs that they are breeding, maybe you should look for a breeder who 'cares' about these things? E-mail me privately and I'd be happy to send you links to educational websites.
