I'm a little concerned about your post. You say you've been breeding since 1994, but have many dobes over 15....How is this possible?? 1994 was only 13 years ago....Then you say of the "hundreds" of puppies you've bred....Just how much breeding do you do?? The WZ dobes will be faced with the same diseases that other dobes are faced with such as cardiomyopathy, cvi, etc....Are you health testing your dogs before making breeding decisions?? And finally why do you feel it's your job to bring the protectiveness back to the dobe? If they are of proper breed type this will be part of their nature.
