My questions to anyone is this. Are all White dobermans either carriers or affected by vwD? Is there any White dobermans that have tested clear for vwD known of to date? If is possible with breeding to get a clear vwd white doberman and if it is how do you go about it? I was told that in order to get a clear doberman of any color. You have to breed clear to clear but that does not really mean you can guarantee clear as you have to breed clear to clear for 3 generations. What does anyone know about that? I was told that the blood test for vwd is no accrate in determining vwd. That stress and other factors can through off the blood test. That only a vet gen vwD DNA test is the only way to know for sure. Anyone can give me comments on that one. Also can you spay or neuter a vwd affected dog with out having them die on you? Do you consider vwd communicable disease or congential disease?
