Subject: Thank you

To all my faire family friends - I want to thank you all for the warm greetings and hugs that made me feel so wanted. You mean the world to me. Thank you, for keeping the candle burning. Love, Shaunough.

There is always a light in the window for you
Shaunough , There are few institutions left at
this fair , and without you and Ginny , there are
two fewer reasons for me to return next year !
It seems that Loyalty means much less than the almighty
dollar ,(an obvious understatement !) I for one , refuse
to except that eliminating storied and tested veterans
such as yourself , could be a positive step in any sense ,
No matter how management may try and spin it .

Our small group from Vermont hadn't been able to get to KRF the last year or two, and to hear that you are no longer there makes us sad. We always enjoyed how you encouraged audience participation and we loved being "Shaunoughettes". You were among those from KRF who made our first visit to it such an enjoyable and magical experience. You and Ginny were among the musicians / bards that inspired us (the Mountain Rogues) to produce our "Faire Lyric Book". Other venues now know that you might be available so perhaps we shall see you both around New England.

I'm a little biased here, as I've gotten to see, hear, and work with Shaunough at KRF, the King's Feast, and some great private gigs (plus he fixes the coffee machine where I work!) and Shaun brings his warmth, talent, and joy to each and every performance!
So keep us posted on your performances, and we'll be there!

My family didn't bother to go to the faire this year, either. We go for the music - well, I do. If Shannough isn't going to be there, why bother?

Shannough is such a staple and we miss him! He was always kind and supportive to us apprentices (who are now older and more seasoned) back in 1995, but everytime he sees us, he remembers and takes a moment to chat.

We love you, Shaun!!

As I won't be up at KRF this, I still have the last few years of memories of your performances.
Heck, you and Ginny even came to one of the Toreador Balls!

There's always room down here at the Maryland Renaissance Festival. (They're even bigger than KRF) And your performance would be a WELCOMED addition to the fantastic musical acts we have down here. We lost two acts this year due to them retiring so I'm sure you'd be welcomed here. Even if for a weekend.

Hmmmm... Now, how do I continue to move the rest of the performers and vendors down here to create a faire in my own image...Hmmmmmm...
