Subject: NERennies Expo is live!

As a service to the New England renaissance faire community, NERennies has launched a new site: NERennies Expo (http://nerennies.net/expo/), a site dedicated for faires and the folks who work them to connect, network, and promote themselves to one another.

Faire producers, variety performers, merchants, musicians, and individuals offering behind-the-scenes services for hire may add their information to the site, free of charge (but NERennies Expo is seeking paid advertisers and donations to support site maintenance).

In the interest of keeping the site content simple and clear, participants are asked to use this format for posting information:

* Entry type (faire, variety, merchant, music, staff/crew)
* Name (i.e., faire name, variety act name, business name, name of musical act, or your name if an individual offering work-for-hire)
* Location
* A descriptive paragraph or two about the business/act/individual
* What are you looking for? (Example: faire seeking paid support staff or volunteers, variety act seeking faires to work during a particular time of year, etc.)
* Website URL (if applicable)
* Direct contact info (e-mail and/or phone)

Since this is a business-to-business site, please do not format your entry as an advertisement to potential customers.

Graphics such as company logos and publicity photos may be posted as part of the entry, but we request that you limit yourself to one image.

The site is open to faire producers operating in the New England market (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont), as well as independent contractors located within New England (the indie contractors forum is coming soon), and outside of New England but who have an interest in working in the region.

Please pass this announcement along to anyone who might be interested, and contact site admins Mike (general questions) or Keith (for technical issues) via the site's private message system. Thank you!
