Subject: Mutton and Mead Faire
Hi, My name is Denise and I am a member of the group that has formed to begin a new Ren. Faire in Montague MA. To be held on the grounds of the Millers Falls Rod and Gun Club on June 18, 2011 from 10am until 6pm. We are in the early planning stages, but I want to get the word out to all possibly interested parties. I will follow up with much more detail as soon as I have it available. We were just hoping you could check your calander and consider joining us in what we have faith shall be a wonderful event that can grow and become all the more fabulous with time. We have decided to go with a Robin Hood theme for our first year. We have the grounds that work well with this theme including a wooded area to be our Sherwood Forest. The Web site is under construction, it is titled Mutton and Mead. Thanks For reading and we will be back in touch. Please feel free to forward to anyone else who may have an interest.

For Immediate Release
Montague Renaissance Faire Seeks Talent
Mutton and Mead, Montague’s Medieval Festival, seeks Actors, Singers, Minstrels, and other creative types at an audition and open house on Saturday, January 15th, 2011, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Montague Grange hall, for “THEIVES OF HONOR” a Robin Hood-themed Renaissance Faire to be held on June 18th.
Actors should come with a two minute monologue and be prepared to participate in some improvisational activities. Not looking for a major role? We are also seeking extras for “depth and color” and will provide training. If you sing or play an instrument please bring it and a song to present.
Not an actor, but still interested in helping bring our medieval village to life? Mutton and Mead is also seeking volunteers, crafts-people, merchants, theatre crew, designers and carpenters, independent acts, interns and staff. Just contact us or stop by on audition day.
Are you some other “creative” type? Our hope is that Mutton and Mead will provide a venue for the community. We welcome your ideas on how we can make that happen. We hope to see you or hear from you too.
Auditions and Open house to be held at the Montague Grange hall, 34 Main Street, Montague Center, on Saturday, January 15, 2011, from 9:00 AM through 4:00 PM.
