I am trying to locate a particular book relating to air accidents over the UK during the Second World War. Although there are many books with subject matter appertaining to locating crash sites and crash site archaeology, the publication I am interested in is purely regarding the actual accidents and their causes.

I originally read the book (borrowed from Milton Keynes library) about 12 years ago but unfortunately did not make a note of the title or author. The only information I can offer is that two of the chapters deal with American bomber crashes in Felixstowe (Suffolk) and Rougham (Norfolk). There are photographs contained and one shows the rear part of a B17 fuselage where it crashed into a cottage in Felixstowe. I think the book relates purely to the US 8th air force but am not 100% sure.

Any advice would be really appreciated.
