Denis, I build and finish all pieces at the shop. However, not everything gets assembled at the shop. For instance, this unit is 35 1/4" deep. That would not have fit through the front door. So, the box surrounding the projection TV was built in two pieces - the front big piece at 32" deep, then the last 3 1/4" inches that had the back panels was the other piece. I laid the big box on its face in the living room and biscuited and glued the back 3 1/4" on. Also, the crown and other mouldings are all finishing in rough lengths at the shop, then they are cut and installed onsite. To read more about the process, you can go to my website at http://www.burchwoodusa.com and go into the GALLERY and click on REMODEL/BUILT-INS. When you see this picture, click on it. Todd.
