Subject: Butcher Block Island - Under Mount Sink Hole Cut Needed

I recently purchased an end grain 1.5" thick Walnut Butcher Block Island -- as the title states, I need to cut a hole for the 16" x 28" under-mount sink with round corner (~4" dia.).

I believe the best method would be a larger plunge router with guide bushings to trace a pre-made template. Ideally I can preserve as much of the cutout as possible.

Unfortunately I don't have the tools to properly complete this task. I can make the jig as well as deliver the 6' x 3' island top and assist an any other way possible.

Please let me know if you can help; thanks!
