Subject: Blade and fence allignment

I have a Craftsman table saw (one of their better ones - please, no comments on buying a craftsman saw). I never had much luck with the "stock" miter guage. I purchased a VERY nice Rockler miter guage to go along with my saw. I have noticed however that there is about a 1/32 gap from the front of my blade to the back of my blade when I hold my stock parallel to the blade using the new miter guage. Does anyone know how to allign a table saw? Can it be done on my craftsman? (belt drive 2 HP floor model).

Or should I go spend another $500 on a new Jet/Delta table saw (I'm not rich - please help)
