Steve, At the meeting I did not have any good experience with the Drill Doctor, but I have since borrowed one from a friend. Once I learned to use it (15 minutes), I could sharpen all my regular twist bits in minimal time per bit (less than a minute). It was very consistent in its work and if I didn't know where to borrow one, I'd buy one. The one I used was their top model at about $100. I also sharpened some masonary bits with it, but had some problems with some of them. Shame that it can't sharpen brad point or pilot bits too.
