Subject: Sanding Discs

I've recently seen an influx of Norton 3X Brand sandpaper (sheets/discs). I've used it because it's inexpensive. It works great on pine, but doesn't really last that long on hardwoods for me. Can anyone suggest a quality sandpaper/discs that I can purchase locally?

I don't mind spending a little extra for a quality product that will last longer.

I've used 3M in the past. I just can't find it in the stores anymore.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
