Subject: panasonic NV-GS50 video download

 I have recently purchased the panasonic NV-GS50 and cannot seem to download the video footage I have on my tape onto the computer. I can download the JPEG on the DV card but have no idea how to get the video footage onto the computer so I can edit it. I am currently using the USB port....do I need to get a firewire to transfer the video footage?
