Subject: TURLTLE SHELL SLATE CALLS

 I have been making some form of calls for about 3 years now my first ones were turttle shell slate . I now make box calls wood pot slate and glass and still turttle shells . I have 12 new shells to work with now and I was wondering if any body has any idea of how to make slate over glass or glass over glass . The options I have tried I just havent figured out how to get the lower or inside piece close to the top piece . Hope I am speaking english for you . I Tried cutting it to fit and making small cedar blocks to hold it but no real steady or concistant way yet any ideas.
