Seeing the need to respond, I think it should be known that MA and CT are two very well accomplished young women that have goals and aspirations to do well in life. To use the opportunity that Miss USA has provided as a way to enhance their careers is something they should not be faulted for. Isn’t this one of the many reasons women compete? They are go ‘ getters. Perhaps this is what the judges saw in them, not just pretty pageant patty’s. Think about the exhausting lives they are living right now, between MA interviewing at graduate schools in NYC while she still holds her PERMANENT residency in Mass. This kid is COMMITTED to this title. She could easily walk away from the appearances, but holds true to her non-paying pageant JOB. CT I believe was laid off from her job. Maybe there are circumstances that you are just NOT privy to. Life holds unexpected turns. I think it’s - shame on you for not supporting two very committed women who have done amazing volunteer work up to now within their selected states. Is it really necessary to be so mean. I also think you should try to see the good in what the new regime has provided for the state of CT. My goodness, what an improvement. Though it might be hard to accept, things change in a young persons life…opportunity knocks once. I believe every titleholder should be encouraged to pursue what comes her way AS LONG as she is fulfilling her obligations in her state which these two girls certainly are doing. As far as shame on Clemente Pro. I don’t think so. These people are topnotch, honest, professional folks who also employee the same. Maybe you should get to know them. I bet you’d agree.
