Subject: She moved to Boston only recently (less than 6 months ago). She didn't compete in RI because the time she did before she didn't even make Top 5 and figured less competition in CT. If she continues to live in Boston, she will be eligible to compete in Miss Mass instead of CT. She can probably claim residency with her parents next year if she really wants to compete in CT again.

In reply to: Confused about MUO rules 's message, "What rule allows Ashley to live and work in Boston and then compete in CT? Prior to that she went to college in RI. She did graduate HS in CT 4 or 5 years ago - does that still count for residency in CT now?" on Friday, October 24, 12:28:13pm
